2013 年,「聯合國婦女署」(UN Women)與奧美廣告合作,發表了一系列震撼人心的平面廣告。這則廣告以圖像顯示在 Google Search 中,輸入「女人應該/不應該 Women Should/Shouldn’t」、「女人不會/不能 Women Cannot」、「女人需要 Women need to」等關鍵字,呈現了國際間對現代女性,始終抱有不平等看法的事實。
這個月,Impact Hub Taipei將探究聯合國永續發展目標第五項-「性別平等(Gender Equliaty)」,同時也讓大家思索如何衡量性別平等、達成性別平等以及男性所面臨到的不平等,當然如果我們要做到性別平等,改變文化態度(Cultural Attitude)是一種可行的做法。而下篇,我們將以「生殖健康(Reproductive Health)」、「賦權(Empowerment)」與「勞動市場(Labour Market)」三個面相來帶出台灣社群的回應。
In October 2013, UN Women and Memac Ogilvy & Mather Dubai piloted a series of creative ads, using genuine Google searches to reveal the widespread prevalence of sexism and discrimination against women. The campaign “#womenshould” shows how far we still have to go to achieve gender equality.
So this month, Impact Hub Taipei presents you the fifth SDGs goal – Gender Equality, giving you a picture of how we can see gender equality, how to create gender equality, and the challenges of gender equality male would encounter. What’s more, we will also unveil responses to this goal from local community. They will further discuss from perspectives of reproductive health, empowerment and labour market.
